Architectural cultural heritage sites are often threatened by physical or sociocultural changes, which are determining factors for their preservation. Improving forms of registration, documentation, accessibility and dissemination of data is a constant. This research is directed to the use of Virtual Reality (VR) in the discipline, from the manual and interactive three-dimensional modeling of real-time rendering (based on the investigation, obtaining and processing of data from historical, iconographic and physical remnants sources), as a method of exploration of the hypothesis of virtual reconstruction of a ruin of historical heritage interest, the Palacete Fellet, in Juiz de Fora, MG. The proposal sought the construction of a technical repertoire that supported the construction of the final product. Focused on a production process like 3D games, the game engine Unity 3D allowed interaction with the application via computer or mobile RV device. In addition, the investigations carried out contributed to the elaboration of guidelines for intervention in the property, aiming at the requalification of the area and the integration of virtual reconstructions to patrimonial protection projects.
