The natural port conditions gave Macae a relevance in the economic history of the North Fluminense region of the State of Rio de Janeiro. The history of the city is, in fact, intertwined and develops from its ports and the groups whichown it. Thiscoastalplace, the Port of Macae, is still part of Macanese history, not with the static 'past' relationship, as it once was, but because of its ability to evoke our gaze and thought. This work is committed to revitalizing an urban area that is part of the social imagination and plays an important role in the culture of the local community. The general objective is to strengthen the value of the cultural landscape, proposing a revitalization project for the pier slip ofFish Marketplace of Macae. By understanding the complexity of a study, we will use a qualitative approach and analysis methodologies developed within LASC, with the intention of placing the community as a primary source, through a subjective view, with a culturally basedfocus. We believe that through the understanding of certain elements of the collective memory of the fishermen group and the composition of the value of this community, this research will strengthen the value of the cultural landscape, through a project to revitalize the pier slip of the Macae Fish Marketplace Wharf.
