The José de Anchieta National Shrine, located in the municipality of Anchieta, south of the capital Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil, is an important national religious heritage, guarding the memory of the founder of the Jesuit Order in Brazil. It was listed by SPHAN (present IPHAN) in 1943; It keeps important documents of Brazilian history and houses part of the missionary's remains, constituting a space of religious pilgrimage and tourism, being a significant visitation landmark, which contributes to the local economy. Despite its value, it needs improvement, especially with regard to accessibility and support facilities for tourists, pilgrims. This work aims to provide accessibility and mobility to the surroundings of the Sanctuary, in addition to creating support areas for visitors, aiming at adapting this property to current demands and proposing solutions that optimize their visitation, but ensure the permanence of its ambience, without impacting the religious heritage, nor in the surrounding landscape.
