The "Project and Sustainability Research" allows the sharing of character production: [1] Scientific (theoretical-conceptual), welcoming students from [1] Academic Master and Doctorate and [2] Practical, attending students of Professional Master. In its scientific aspect [1], it aims to: develop studies that raise, analyze, understand, interpret, critically evaluate concepts, attributes, and situations of use, occupation, preservation, requalification, rehabilitation, and reintegration of cultural heritage. Under this goal, it provides for studies aimed at theoretical-conceptual foundations, analysis, and diagnosis of themes related to architectural, urban, and/or landscape-ethnographic and environmental heritage, contemplating their preservation, prequalification, and rehabilitation, aiming at sustainability and quality equity. To this end, the project proposes to identify, record, and analyze the memory of the heritage, highlighting its origin, state of conservation and current situation, shape, structuring elements, uses, activities, ambiance, and perception of users, based on the recognition of the elements that differentiate it, keeping its structural, environmental, cultural, historical characteristics, etc. It uses as main strategies of action, bibliographical and field surveys, observation, photographic records, interviews, among others. In its practical aspect [2], it aims the elaboration of plans, models, projects and design guidelines, intervention manuals and procedures, inventories, among others, for intervention in architectural, urban, and/or landscape-ethnographic and environmental heritage.
