Retired Full Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Professor Emeritus of tUFRJ. Member of the PROARQ Permanent faculty. Professor of MPPP at PROARQ. She was Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Architecture (PROARQ FAU-UFRJ) - (2014-2015). Director of FAU-UFRJ (1998-2002), Mayor of UFRJ (2002 - 2004), Director of the Technical Office of UFRJ (2002 - 2007). Graduated by FAU-UFRJ (1972), Master in Education by FE-UFRJ (1983 ) and PhD (2002) in Engineering (Operational Research and Production Management) by COPPE - UFRJ. Leader of the Research Group on Architecture Education, develops the research A Educação do Olhar: Education of geometric shapes of places, acting mainly in the didactic renovation of the architecture course; in the reformulation of graphic education in the face of new technologies; in the search for methods of understanding, analyzing, representing and generating the architectural form. She is a member of the Free Space Systems-SEL RJ group, working on plans and projects to improve the environment, both natural and built; in the requalification of urban spaces.
